Málaga and the history of wine
The history of wine in Málaga dates back thousands of years. Evidence has been found from as early as the Neolithic period, while the Phoenicians helped develop vine cultivation in the area. Traditional wines and styles include Pajarete, Moscatel, Lágrima, Pedro Ximénez, Málaga Dulce Color and Málaga Seco. Although Málaga is particularly renowned for its sweet wines, the Málaga Designation of Origin also covers dry wines, while the Sierras de Málaga Designation of Origin includes white, red and rosé wines.

Bodegas Sedella

Bodega Doña Felisa (Ronda)
Bodega Doña Felisa is a family-run winery founded in 1999 by José María Losantos and Gema Alonso. It is located in the Chinchilla area, in the heart of the Serranía de Ronda. Wine Museum
Málaga Wine Museum is located in the Biedmas Palace in the old town and came about with the intention of offering the visitor a route through the history and culture of wine in the province, in addition to tastings of all the varieties that are produced here.
