In Ibiza, there are several internationally renowned superclubs and large clubs (Hï, PACHA, [UNVRS], Amnesia and Ushuaïa). a few smaller clubs with diverse personalities, hotels that become clubs for a few hours, bars with live music and legendary terraces that provide the soundtrack for one of the most famous sunsets in the world. And let’s not forget the Marina de Ibiza neighbourhood, with a lively nightlife that is also home to part of the island’s gay scene. How to choose which club to go to in Ibiza

First of all, it’s important to choose a club night in Ibiza that matches your musical tastes. Going to PACHA’s legendary Flower Power party, now reimagined with a mix of house, disco and retro spirit, is very different from attending a house session at Hï, enjoying the highly danceable electronic music of Glitterbox, or joining Circoloco at DC10, a party aimed especially at clubbers who prefer more underground house and techno sounds.
Although there are a few exceptions, electronic music is the star in the main clubs on the island. Therefore, it’s advisable before choosing where to go at night in Ibiza to check the calendar of events for the main clubs (Amnesia, PACHA, Hï, Ushuaïa…) on specialist websites such as Ibiza Spotlight and Welcome to Ibiza, and see the DJ sessions scheduled for each day of the week, so you can choose the one that best suits your musical tastes.

Is it worth going to Ibiza clubs?
If electronic music isn’t really your thing but you’re curious and want to experience Ibiza’s famous nightlife, it’s best to check each club’s official ticket options and promotions in advance. Many parties offer reduced prices for entry before a certain time, so make sure to review the conditions for each event before booking.

The night in Ibiza starts at San Antonio Bay, which has for decades been providing the soundtrack for the most famous sunset of the Mediterranean Sea. Best Ibiza pubs and bars
There are many ways to start the night in Ibiza, from the terraces of Sunset Strip in San Antonio to the evening house parties at Ushuaïa. But if you are more into pubs and bars, we recommend you go to La Marina, the port neighbourhood of Ibiza town. There you will find numerous venues along the streets Andenes, Barcelona, Cipriano Garijo and Mare de Deu. The last one has many gay venues. A little further on, a few feet from Portal de ses Taules, is the Tirapallá rooftop, an Ibiza nighttime classic with a good view of the citadel and excellent pop and rock music.
The night can continue at the clubs located around the city.

Check the programme before you choose
In Ibiza, simply choosing a club isn’t enough. Every night can bring a completely different party, DJ and style of music. Before buying your ticket, check the club’s programme and the line-up for the night to make sure they match your tastes.
Buy your tickets in advance
The most popular parties can attract a lot of interest, especially during the height of summer. Buying your tickets through the clubs’ official websites will help you plan your night and give you time to check the entry conditions carefully.
Pay particular attention to tickets that require you to enter before a certain time. If you arrive later, different entry conditions or prices may apply.
Check the entry requirements
Before leaving your hotel, check the rules of the venue you’re heading to. Some clubs have dress codes and may restrict entry if you’re wearing beachwear, flip-flops or certain types of sportswear.
Don’t forget to take a valid form of ID with you, as you may need it to enter the venue.
Plan how you’ll get back
If you’re planning to drink, leave the car behind. Plan your return journey in advance by taxi, public transport or transfer service, and bear in mind that demand can be higher when the biggest parties finish.
